1. Wear Proper Protective Gear
Always wear an approved helmet when riding. Protective gear such as goggles, gloves, elbow and knee pads, and long pants is strongly recommended. Wear lace-up shoes with rubber soles. Do not ride barefoot, in open-toed shoes, or in high heels.
2. Ride Only in Safe and Legal Areas
Do not ride on highways, indoors, on slopes exceeding 30°, or on uneven, slippery, or unfamiliar terrain. Beginners should practice in an open area before riding in public spaces.
3. Operate Responsibly to Minimize Risk
Always hold the handlebars with both hands and avoid high-risk maneuvers. Do not ride under the influence of alcohol, medication, or when unwell. Obey local traffic laws and yield to pedestrians and other road users.
4. Battery Safety and Handling
Do not store batteries in environments above 70°F (21°C) or below 32°F (0°C). Batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Do not throw batteries into fire or dispose of them with household waste.
5. Observe Weight and Weather Limits
Maximum load is 120 kg. The recommended rider weight is approximately 80 kg. Do not ride in rain, storms, fog, or other extreme weather conditions. Avoid water exposure to the motorcycle and battery.
Shipping Policy
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, with those placed before 11:00 AM dispatched within 48 hours. Shipping for accessories is free on orders over $100 (otherwise a $10 flat rate applies), while eBike shipping is free for major metro areas like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with tiered rates for regional and remote zones. Delivery generally takes 2–15 business days via tracked services. Please note that eBikes arrive 95% assembled and cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.
Return & Warranty Policy
Yozma eBikes include a 12-month warranty on electronic components and a 1-year bike warranty for the original purchaser. Wear-and-tear items are not covered. Returns are accepted within 14 days if the item is new, unused, unopened, and in original packaging; change-of-mind return shipping is at the buyer’s cost. Orders cancelled via Afterpay or Humm incur a 6% processing fee. For returns or enquiries, contact info@yozmabike.com.au.
